Really like this way of looking at Apple Watch and comparing to Windows Mobile. But I don’t know that it could exist entirely independently or replace it comprehensively.

Is there an argument to say that we can’t judge the Watch a failure for not being the iPhone? And that to try and usurp the other device too soon would actually risk burning the whole empire to the ground?

In reality, I think the Watch has a good two or three more models in it to find its feet. Or it may even take longer like the iPad seems to be.

Each case is fine, as long as you don’t care about things like the market value of the company. Which I personally don’t wildly care much about, although I understand its significance to the larger conversation.
